Pumpkin Pie Chai Toddy

If you like pumpkin pie and are a fan of chai tea latte, this is a combo you're sure to enjoy as well.

Filled with so much flavor that it is hard to describe if you've never enjoyed it, Tazo® Chai Tea consists of: black tea, rooibos, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, chicory, natural flavors and star anise, cane sugar, honey, ginger juice, natural flavors, vanilla, and citric acid.

Tazo® Decaf Chai Tea Concentrate is the base for this drink. It's exactly what Starbucks uses and is available at most grocery stores now, although you might find the decaf variety harder to come by than the caffeinated. If you can't find it at your grocery store, you can purchase it at most Starbucks locations.

NOTE: This recipe makes a strong chai. If you find it to sweet, you can mix 1/2 cup of water with 1/2 cup of the tea concentrate.

Happy New Year! Instead of champagne, we decided to start the year with a little more spice. You may recall my disappointment at the realization that I did not invent the Chainog Toddy. I'm far more confident that this drink is one of a kind. So I'm off to google now...
