11. Rain Forrest Cafe - San Antonio

It took us a long time to decide where to eat when we finally decided to go to Rain Forrest Cafe since we haven't been to one since we left California. We thought Gaetano might enjoy it there more than some of our other options along the San Antonio river walk. We waited about 25 minutes to be seated.

12. Wedding Day Eve

Evelina, my best friend (who is staying with us during the week prior and up to the wedding), mentioned that her favorite dessert is chocolate covered rice crispy treats. The only place I know to get those is The Melting Pot and as it turns out...

13. Bess Friends at Best Bistro - Strike that; reverse it!

Before going to pick up my wedding gown, Evelina and I went to Bess Bistro (owned by Sandra Bullock) for lunch. She's a Sandra Bullock fan (and so am I), so I wanted to be sure she got to visit before leaving town.

15. Sushi Zushi with Gaetano - Finally!

We've been to Sushi Zushi a few times now and hadn't yet taken Gaetano. My son has been eating sushi since age 3 and loves a good spicy roll. He's been really good lately so we treated him to Sushi Zushi.

17. Dulces at Lakeline for Lunch with Mom, Dan & Gaetano

My son, Gaetano, had chicken taquitos; I think they were the same as the Flautitas de Pollo (Traditional chicken flautas served with a mild spicy sauce and sour cream) on the adult menu. He was full after one, so he took the other home and had it for dinner. Gaetano was particularly impressed by the paprika shaped moon, "Look mom, it's their logo!"

18. Sushi Zushi for Lunch with Sydney

I had the Monterey Roll but I substituted snow crab for the kanikama crab: Melted Monterey cheese on the outside, breaded kanikama  crab and avocado rolled inside with chives, chipotle sauce and serrano pepper.

19. Panera Bread's New 280 Calorie Salad

It was at the register that I noticed it was only 280 calories for what looked like a decent size salad and 150 calories for a frozen strawberry lemonade.

20. Sushi Zushi with my Parents for Dinner

Once I had dinner at Zushi Sushi, I knew that I would have to bring my parents. I just didn't realize it would be this soon. My mom and I were out shopping for her dress for the wedding and Dan went to Men's Wearhouse with my dad to get fitted for his tuxedo. We met up for dinner at Zushi Sushi at The Domain.
